I’ll be honest with you – I’ve certainly had some fun times, but 2014 has been more of a nose to the grindstone kind of year for me than most, and I am looking forward to watching the growth of the Personal Chef Approach continue in 2015. On a personal level, my focus needs to be on balance in 2015, on finding a little more time with the people I love, and for the outside pursuits that inspire creativity and regenerate my energy. I’m so much more productive when I take brief time outs.
I know how lucky I am to have both my parents alive and well, and I want to enjoy their company more often. Dad has been an invaluable advisor for me with the business, and the mother-daughter trip mom and I took to New York last month was such a blast that will be a cherished memory for us both forever.

It was such an honor to be invited onto Masterchef as a guest judge amongst so many of my own culinary heroes! Even more rewarding, has been the loyalty and praise from Personal Chef Approach members. Your business and feedback are invaluable, and it makes every moment of effort worthwhile. I have big plans in store for you in 2015!
I also got to placate the gypsy within, with several short trips to the desert, a long weekend in Lake Tahoe for a family reunion in July, and a glorious few days alone in Los Cabos to just flop on the beach, soak in the sights, rest and read novels.
Okay, so I indulged in a little shopping too – I do have a nickname to maintain! Those short breaks are where the creativity begins…

2014 was also a year for letting go of the past to provide for the future, and for witnessing the fast paced thrill of the highest grossing art auction in history!
As 2014 began to draw to a close – I found my social side again. Attending fabulous parties with carolers and anti-carolers. Delicious food and highly amusing companionship. Observing lifelong traditions like Auntie Vera’s buttermilk pancakes and waffles, while creating new ones with all my Brit friends and Shepherd’s Pie on Boxing Day.
