It is really easy to become overwhelmed while running both real world and cyber businesses simultaneously. This week has been fraught with problems with the membership software on my site, in fact I’m in the process of building a much cooler new site,  because the software apparently can not be fixed on the existing one.

Gone fishing

Never the less, this week was one of those times when I felt like throwing in the towel and hanging out a “gone fishing” sign, UNTIL, I saw comments members made like “The only reason I’m cooking is because your recipes are amazing, well-written, and no matter which recipe of yours I make, it comes out great“, or “I just want to thank you, Jewels, for making my kitchen life easier. The PCA™ saves me so much time, money, and calories!” They remind me of exactly why I am in love with doing what I do, and make the 12-15 hour days feel

infinitely worthwhile. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for the inspiration my members share, and my amazement over the immense talent, kindness, and generous natures of the people the membership attracts. You all ROCK my world! In an effort to free up some time to get the content loaded to the new site (amongst a

gazillion other responsibilities), and then hopefully spend some free time with my daughter, Tatjana, who will be coming home for a brief visit, I launched a new page on the website  encouraging guest blog posts. Now I was really targeting those who have their own blogs and businesses to promote, since guest posting is a great way to drive traffic and new audiences to your own site, plus help with SEO, so it is a major win-win situation for all concerned; but I am also overwhelmed with the beautiful posts my own members have written, and I’m anxious for the world to see the beauty that I do in each and every one of them. I can’t thank you all enough!

Laughing about the energizer bunny spoof picturing it! I’m thrilled the guest posts are coming in. I will do one one day when I’m not feeling creatively void and get my new blog up finally! I hope it frees up lots of mother daughter quality time with Tatjana for you!!! You deserve it!!!

It will be interesting to see if I have the courage to completely unplug. Is there an unpluggers anonymous?

After all the motivating and help you provide us members, I’m glad we could do the same for you once in a while!

You guys are like my battery charger – I go into the forum and see what you’re all up to, and it makes my day.

In fact, I keep thinking of the Energizer bunny – maybe we should do a funny take on that for a commercial? What a laugh that would be.

You are the angel who made me care enough to want to cook! I would never have ventured back into the kitchen if you had not made me realize that I deserved to have healthy, wonderful meals even if I was on my own. I need to set up a PCA day soon as my stash is running low. Looks like one day this week, after I clean the fridge, will be devoted to cooking some wonderful meals just because I want to. Sending hugs to you and Daisy!

I have made friendships here that I value and I care about the members of this group. You think you’re just getting insane time saving ways of making your family healthy meals but it’s so much more. As I’ve said before, I can be having a horrible day and after reading a few blogs, I can start fresh. Love it.

I think you speak for all of us, Rachel – perfectly stated.

Absolutely I agree! I have met some of the most amazing people through my annual membership, and access to the recipe library in addition to the weekly menus? Gold! The forum, the members, Jewels…I hold this experience dear and am grateful for it! My children’s palettes have expanded, as well, and they eat foods they previously turned their nose up at. Thank you, Jewels, for all you do, and to my fellow members for all YOU do! It’s so awesome to have support.

Can’t wait to see the new site. I’m lucky in that I’ve never had trouble with this one, but I’m sure the new one will be even better!

OMG, I was really naughty and took a sneak peak (I hope Rob doesn’t see this or I will get my knuckles rapped) while uploading recipes into the new software today – I am bursting with excitement over it!

I think it is safe to say we have a bonified mutual admiration society happening in the Cyber Living Room of the members’ forum!

I think we all recharge each other. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve reached out to our amazing community from everything from cooking help to moral support and everyone has been super supportive.

And Jewels, I’ll say it again, you are a TEASE about the new site! – sooooo psyched!
