Individual pot pies are an exceptionally versatile way to cook for varying diets in the same household with minimal effort. If you stick to this basic vegan recipe, then throw in some roasted chicken, turkey, or steamed crab or lobster (if you really want to get fancy schmancy)  instead of the butter beans before topping – you’ll be sure to keep everyone happy. You can also mix up the vegetables to suit your preferences, and get creative with the herbs for new takes on keeping it interesting. The possibilities are endless. It can be a great use of Thanksgiving leftovers too.

    Hi Julie Anne,
I made this dish yesterday (well, 3 of your recipes yesterday night) and they all turned out pretty good! lunch and dinner are taken care off for today!! 🙂
One question I have is how do you generate a menu plan from the recipes you add to your own plan…I cannot seem to find a way how to do that?

    thanks for your help!

Julie Anne, I meant to ask how do you generate a grocery list from your own menu plan?

Hi Marina – if you hover over “PROFILE” in the upper righthand corner of your screen, a drop down menu will appear with – my favorites, view my own plan, and my grocery list. Click on my grocery list. Tick anything you already have in the boxes to the left of the ingredient (so you don’t buy it), and add any household or further groceries you want to your list in the NOTES section at the bottom (these will print, but they will not save on the list so do this when you are ready to print your list). Then print using the print button as usual.
